On March 5th, Amazon issued an announcement on "relaxing FBA warehousing restrictions". The original text is as follows:
In order to enable sellers to store more inventory, FBA is gradually relaxing the restrictions on warehousing. Now, our warehousing restrictions have been relaxed 6 times compared to when it was first implemented, and sellers can at least warehousing to meet the inventory of 9.5 months of orders. Regarding FBA new products, the amount of inventory you can put into the warehouse is 7 times that of when the restriction was first implemented.
You can confirm the quantity you can put into the warehouse through the following "replenish inventory" page, and then create a warehouse plan.
FBA New Selection Program
For products that use Fulfillment by Amazon for the first time, we are providing you with the "Fulfillment by Amazon New Selection Program" that waives 3 FBA fees. And this year we will expand the plan. We expanded the offer to apply to large-size products, provided eligible sellers with advertising promotion points, removed the 500 ASIN limit, and increased the storage fees and removal of inventory discounts for some classified products. These new offers will launch on April 1, 2021.
